Children and in general all people with ADD suffer a negative impact daily as a consequence of their symptoms and actions. However, it is very important to discover their strengths and teach them to enhance them; It is a task that requires understanding, patience, perseverance, tolerance and above all knowledge about this disorder to achieve.

For any child, the end of the school year translates into the beginning of the long-awaited summer vacation. They couldn’t receive a better gift, after working hard to climb to the next school year. However, for some children (and even more so for parents) the experience was not so pleasant, since much of the time the learning was online and their grades did not really reflect their knowledge.
Is not only about imparting knowledge to students, it is also about learning to know your students, identifying symptoms, behaviors and the skills that each one has to identify strengths and weaknesses in all areas of their development and thus allowing the child to achieve more significant learning, academically, socially and emotionally. By identifying this, children who did not obtain optimal development in these areas will be able to receive specific support and thus achieve the knowledge and skills required for the next school year.
Treatment
It must be a comprehensive and interdisciplinary work. Each child has his or her personal, unique and unrepeatable characteristics, so one cannot expect the same behavior and response in all those who suffer from it.
The spectrum of attention deficit disorders with or without hyperactivity known by their acronym ADD / ADHD are neuropsychobiological disorders, that is, neurobiological, genetic and environmental aspects are involved; The prevalence is 6 to 11% of the population and it is commonly diagnosed between eight and ten years of age, although when there is hyperactivity the symptoms are observed at an earlier age.
ADD is a misleading name to describe a different type of mind. Generally we talk about a collection of negative symptoms but I would like to approach it from the positive point of view. When you help the child to know himself and take advantage of his talents we can find brilliant minds. If you learn to control the aspects that negatively influence your life, you can begin to take advantage of the positive ones.
The optimal approach according to what I have observed during so many years of work and as a result of the latest research, is to combine cognitive-behavioral therapy and Neurofeedback treatment to achieve self-regulation of their behaviors and behaviors.
If we manage to support them by not seeing only what they do not achieve or the negative of their behaviors in the magnifying glass, we will be able to develop their capacities and thus see happier children blossom into productive, reflective and successful adults.
